What's A Good Wetsuit For A Beginner Scuba Diver

AI e il test di Turing

do not doubt that the reader knows the Turing test, paraphrasing a bit 'naive, it says

If a machine is able to trick the man during a conversation, into believing that a man and not a machine, then this machine is intelligent by definition

To be more precise, Alan Turing proposed the following test to determine if a machine is considered intelligent: an examiner discusses with a man and a machine via a keyboard, he poses questions to himself and the car, trying to distinguish from each other. If it fails (of course we need more examiners, so that the result is statistically meaningful) then the Smart car is declared.

It sounds sci-fi, and it is true that the test that is used to identify Blade Runner the replicants seems a modified version of the Turing test.

Yet, it was closer to his solution than many might think, some years ago, the LOEBNERI Prize awarded to the computer program capable of sustaining a conversation can be more human.

Last year he won Elbot, which is based on an idea that I find funny, not trying to imitate a human like chatting, but rather developed his own style based on being a computer.

try it!
