Center European Laboratory for Archaeological Museum of Abruzzo

The CERM (European Centre for Medieval Research) meeting from May of 2005 a group of historians of medieval society operating at the University of Trieste . On the basis of a long college experience, the Center promotes research and its dissemination in all areas of medieval history, with a strong interest in the realities of North-East and a desire for comparison with other Italian and European.

The CERM supports research with grants and scholarships study, arrange meetings and conferences and produces its own series of publications. Closely following the critique of culture and publishing initiatives promoted in the Region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia in medieval studies, develop their innovative research tools and proper disclosure.

CERM 's ambition is to become, in collaboration with the universities and other research centers, an important reference point and a place of connection to the vital forces working in the fields of social history, cultural, economic, political and religious Middle Ages and those who feel engaged in research, teaching and communication power and updated knowledge.
