Medieval Days in the ancient Castello di Poggio

"...Per tre giorni continovi lo popolo de lo borgo, castello, contado et delle ubertose campagne de lo fiero castrum podiums average if they challenge them to games and governs the co taberne the holy broccale Filomena de madonna, for the comfort of them votes stomachs et de throats burned ... "

This is what gives" Castrum podiums Medii "or Poggio di Mezzo in its old name, a step back in time for the third weekend of July that will see the castle dressed as a pretty village of yesteryear, with performances of the ancient games, flag throwers, dueling, ancient crafts and music that will revive the days that were.

Recall the "Middle Ages" will be for the village of Poggio Otricoli indeed a unique way to capitalize on its historical roots, the perfectly preserved architectural beauty, and the beautiful natural landscape and agriculture in which they are immersed.

This is the "Medieval Days", and from 20.00 till late at night, will perform the ancient customs of the village with the opening of traditional ovens, wine cellar, the beer, the basement of the flavors and the "special" hostaria Filomena in a context without excesses, but with the knowledge to express the daily life and spontaneity that for almost ten centuries have marked this small village with an ambitious name " Poggio di Mezzo."
