The project "Cultural Routes of the Middle Ages Puglia" (Intervention Area II - Cultural Resources. In II. Cultural Heritage) - cataloging and dissemination of results of survey on cultural heritage - is part of a series of initiatives aimed at creating a regional portal for users interested in cultural tourism in Puglia. The cataloging of cultural property held by the regional superintendents, according to the instructions and cataloging standards developed by the Central Institute for Catalogue and Documentation (ICCD) has developed over time the methods that are well suited to the systematic knowledge of the area and its resources and their exploitation. The database of the cultural heritage of Puglia has provided the necessary elements for a project consisting of three components:

I tre tematismi sono in piena sintonia con quanto previsto nei Complementi di Programmazione della Regione Puglia, Asse II – Risorse Culturali, che ha individuato nell ’Itinerario normanno-svevo-angioino , nell ’habitat rupestre e nel sistema archeologico regionale tre punte di eccellenza su cui puntare to increase the use and enjoyment of cultural property in Puglia.
